Vigilant Aerospace is presenting at the upcoming 11th Annual INNOTECH Oklahoma Conference Beta Summit sponsored by InterWorks, Inc. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Oklahoma City.
INNOTECH is Oklahoma’s largest business and technology expo featuring Keynote Speaker Doug Reeder and 20+ presentations throughout the day on mobility, cyber security, infrastructure, business intelligence/analytics, IT leadership, and the internet of things.
Vigilant Aerospace CEO Kraettli L. Epperson will be participating in the Startup Spotlight session at 1:00 PM. This session will be a fast-paced demo session featuring 5 startup companies local to the Oklahoma City area. Vigilant Aerospace is slated to present during the first 20 minutes of the session.
Vigilant Aerospace provides a complete, easy-to-use and well-tested “detect-and-avoid” (DAA) and airspace management solution for drones that allows authorized beyond line-of-sight flying in the national airspace. We have exclusively licensed NASA’s patent and software to deliver detect-and-avoid using both aircraft transponders and other sensors, like micro-radars and camera systems. The software runs on a laptop or tablet and provides the pilot with commands to maintain well-clear distances as well as a 3D synthetic cockpit view, weather and navigational data, detailed flight logging and other functions. The system has been flight tested with FAA observation at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center, where it was invented. It is designed to meet FAA Part 107.200 waiver requirements and RTCA SC-228 Phase II MOPS for unmanned detect-and-avoid.
