Vigilant Aerospace Systems will participate in Crowe Dunlevy’s inaugural Aviation Leaders in Oklahoma Flight & Technology (ALOFT) event on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the OKC Innovation district’s Innovation Hall. Kendyn Webster, director of operations at Vigilant Aerospace, is scheduled as a featured speaker at 9:10 a.m. during the morning program.

Webster will speak about the value of investing in drone infrastructure and how those investments can support multiple public and private-sector goals. The topic is expected to connect uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), airspace awareness, advanced air mobility, economic development, and the practical systems needed to support safe drone integration.

ALOFT was created by Crowe Dunlevy as an industry forum for Oklahoma aviation, aeronautics, aerospace, and unmanned systems professionals. The initiative is intended to bring together industry executives, innovators, academic partners, policymakers, and economic development leaders to discuss workforce, technology innovation, advanced air mobility, and emerging UAS applications. The May 14 program also includes speakers and panelists from the State Chamber of Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics, the Oklahoma Defense Industry Association, and the Oklahoma Small Business Development Centers.

More information on the event can be found here.

About Vigilant Aerospace Systems

Vigilant Aerospace is the leading developer of multi-sensor detect-and-avoid and airspace management software for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS or drones). The company’s product, FlightHorizon, is based on two NASA patents and uses data from multiple sources to display a real-time picture of the air traffic around a UAS and to provide automatic avoidance maneuvers to prevent collisions. The software is designed to meet industry technical standards, to provide automatic safety and to allow UAS to safely fly beyond the sight of the pilot. The software has won multiple industry awards and the company has had contracts and users at NASA, the FAA, the U.S. Department of Defense and with a variety of drone development programs.
