Vigilant Aerospace CEO Kraettli Epperson will be making a presentation titled “Safety Framework for Integration of UAS into the National Airspace” on August 8th at the UAS Business & Contracting Symposium organized by the Oklahoma Metro Technology Centers.
The half-day symposium will feature keynote presentations and panel discussions from aerospace and unmanned aircraft experts.

This will be a brief overview of the current authorization framework for commercial unmanned flight, current regulatory initiatives surrounding integration of UAS into the national airspace and discussion of expected safety requirements and capabilities. This will include presentation of Vigilant Aerospace’s FlightHorizon system for situational awareness and detect-and-avoid for unmanned aircraft, which is based on an exclusively licensed NASA patent and prototype.
