Unmanned Airspace has published coverage of Vigilant Aerospace Systems’ launch of FlightHorizon™ ALERT, a fully managed airspace awareness and alerting service for general aviation airports, critical infrastructure sites and other facilities that need better visibility into nearby aircraft and drones.
The article highlights how FlightHorizon ALERT uses a preconfigured receiver unit to detect cooperative aircraft through Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) and drones broadcasting Remote ID.
