Defense and Munitions has republished Vigilant Aerospace Systems’ press release announcing the deployment of the company’s FlightHorizon TEMPO airspace management system at the Infinity One Oklahoma Space Port in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. The release describes the installation of multiple long-range radars and transponder receivers as part of a multi-year project for the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA). The project supports development of a national testing site and operating launchpad for military and civilian autonomous aircraft and spacecraft.
The republished release outlines how FlightHorizon TEMPO provides real-time traffic display, automatic “detect-and-avoid” (DAA) functions, and detailed flight logging across a large test area. The current installation supports approximately 5,000 square kilometers of coverage, with plans to expand to about 10,000 square kilometers. It also includes three DeTect air traffic surveillance radars, with additional radars planned for future setup.
