FlightHorizon ALERT Features
FlightHorizon ALERT is a turnkey, subscription-based airspace monitoring system for small airports, facilities, and security teams. It provides real-time visibility into local crewed aircraft and drones on a shared, web-based map. It uses ADS-B In and Remote ID to support awareness, with automated alerts and continuous logging without radar towers or complex infrastructure.
Each subscription includes preconfigured sensor hardware and cloud or local software access for rapid deployment with minimal setup.
Alerts and Geofencing
FlightHorizon ALERT allows users to define custom inclusion or exclusion zones directly within the interface.
- An aircraft enters a restricted or monitored zone
- A drone appears unexpectedly
- A tracked object violates a defined geofence
Alerts are presented visually and audibly and are logged for later review and documentation.
Event Logging & Historical Data
All detected air traffic is continuously recorded by the FlightHorizon ALERT system.
- Unique aircraft and drone counts
- Activity trends by time of day
- Altitude distributions
- Traffic type summaries
Users can export detailed CSV logs for compliance, audits, operational reviews, or integration with enterprise systems.
Low-Cost Monitoring
FlightHorizon ALERT delivers many of the operational benefits associated with larger surveillance or radar systems without requiring towers, complex infrastructure, or dedicated technical staff.
The platform provides practical, site-level airspace awareness at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.
Plug-And-Play Deployment
Each FlightHorizon ALERT subscription ships ready to deploy.
- Hardware is preconfigured and tested
- Software access is provisioned in advance
- No specialized IT support required
Installation consists of mounting the unit, connecting Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE), and logging in through a standard web browser.
Other Features
Remote- ID Detection
Detects drone Remote ID broadcasts over Bluetooth LE/ LE Long Range, Wi-Fi Beacon, and Wi-Fi NaN (Wi-Fi Aware) for identification of uncrewed aircraft in local airspace.
Cloud Based
FlightHorizon ALERT is cloud based, giving authorized users browser-based access to a shared local airspace picture without requiring a full on-site server installation.
"Safety-As-A-Service"
Out of the box functionality reduces complexity, reducesintegration costs and reduces risk for UASoperators, fleets, facilities and programs
Sensor Health and System Status
FlightHorizon ALERT continuously monitors sensor health and system status, providing visibility into system availability and confidence in collected data.
Flexible Deployment Options
FlightHorizon ALERT is available in cloud-hosted or local on-premise configurations and can operate in connected or disconnected environments to meet site-specific IT and security requirements.
Built In ConOps (Concept of Operations)
Designed to provide a safety case for waiver or COA support and a variety of regulatory approval pathways.
