Initiative plans to train and employ 500 new IT workers in OKC by 2020
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (December 2, 2016) – Vigilant Aerospace Systems has joined the newly announced TechHire Initiative in Oklahoma City, part of a national program dedicated to creating access to well-paying tech jobs and expanding the local technology industry sector in participating cities. With commitments from employers spanning aerospace to non-profits, trainees gain new skills in mobile app development, user interface design and application development. Students will also gain access to business mentorship.
